Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) provide objective measurements and assessments of a patient’s functional ability. FCEs are essential tools for providing objective data to validate injury or disability information leading to case closure, appropriate settlement, disability status or impairment, return to work decisions and much more.
FCE evaluators should be thoroughly trained by expert practitioners to fully understand the process, application, and clinical decision making necessary for any FCE. Certifi cation for licensed medical professionals performing FCEs is also strongly suggested. This seminar accomplishes both and is the best way to get started in FCEs or advance your existing skills and stay on top of industry trends.
This course provides licensed medical providers (PT, OT, DC, MD) the opportunity for certification. All support staff (PTA, OTA, PA, EP) in offices that provide FCEs are encouraged to attend.
